Fieldhead Campsite is a small, tent-only campsite nestled in the picturesque village of Edale, in the Peak District National Park. We are a quiet, peaceful site that welcomes anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors — whether that’s wild swimming, climbing, hill walking, mountain biking, or simply sitting outside with a good book and escaping the busyness of everyday life.
Edale is best known among seasoned walkers as the starting point (or Southern end) of the Pennine Way national trail, sitting at the foot of the iconic Kinder Scout. The surrounding area, and the wider Peak District, offers an abundance of adventures, from gentle strolls to challenging hikes, alongside unique local attractions and truly stunning scenery in every direction.

We always try to find space for walk-ons, but please be aware that during the Peak Season pitches and car parking spaces often sell out weeks in advance.
If you wish to bring a vehicle, we always recommend booking ASAP due to limited space in our car park.
